9. G’wiz Jones – 4U
Since After the release of Bosse which featured Brown Edu at the time when this FineBoy Rapper was still in HannyHouse, G’wiz has managed to maintain a very unstable relevance in the music sphere, when his “Bitter Local” was released with a very controversial picture art the boy successfully sent signal of a major comeback and of course 4U is just Not Bad for a start in the new year especially as we swiftly approach the much celebrated season of love, that’s how he made it to the no.9 of this compilation undisputably.
8. Nayme Harveym – Rude Gial
For the very first time, sensational pop star Nayme Harvey experiments with some Jamaican flair in his latest hingle, not exactly a monster hit single but if your mood is right when this vibe comes through only then will you get the vibe right as Rude Gyal is a low tempo Jam for selective moods that still managed it way to the 8th position of this list not because its lacking behind but because it’s too good to not be here

6. DJ Nexs – Akamba Abasi
Inspiration Fm inhouse Dj and Urban contemporary gospel singer “DJ Nexs” in collaboration with Houston based Nigerian prominent gospel act “Uzo” and Freke Umoh, dished out one of the most amazing of praise jam in January tagged “Akamba Abasi” (Big God) away from bagging the credit for the biggest collabo in January beyond borders, Ekamba Abasi prominently features here as one of the few most streamed gospel jam from Uyo in January and for sure couldn’t go below the no.6 spot of this countdown
5. Uberon Aroy – Bad Whine
featuring Uyo Based raggae sensation JayBurntinz & Bravado you sure can bet it’s a banger! the “Bad Wine” single couldn’t make it anywhere below the no.5 spot. off the world class album compilation tagged “Legends Of Time” the monster hit single with true love theme is the only jam of the raggae genre to make it to this list and sure earned a reputable spot…
4. Honibow – Idoho
Futuristic Rapper/Singer of Hannyhouse Entertainment came through with a massive collabo featuring famous hip Hop Head “David Millz” and indigenous tongue twister “Razzy” to address some real time irregularities in contrast to what the life should be. Idoho couldn’t settle for less but no.4 on this Countdown with all that reputable faces on it…as produced by EbyYoung
3. Emy -P – Sade
Having won 2018 world music Day “Next Rated” the Okuk crooner and Space Entertainment lead act kicks start the new year with another wavy RexMadeIt Production tagged Sade.
With massive radio airplay and dope video rotating massively on top media houses this Pop tune settles comfortably at the Top3 spot of this countdown… awesome tune.
2. Brown Edu – No Trophy For Losers
The self-acclaimed controversial Rapper “Brown Edu” surely wasted no time joining the band wagon of artistes who made sure fans of good music got fed with some positive vibe, emerging with what seems a resolution stating his seriousness in getting the needful done “This Year”.
The Favour Ejekxz produced jam featured new EJA Records signee “Emmy” and Mizta Sors of BlackAlliance with a complimentary video to ensure the message is well passed “No Trophy For Loosers” settling comfortably at the No.2 spot of this countdown after massive media trend , views and features on prominent promotional platforms.
1. iNtexity – Game Over
Topping the countdown for the month of January is “iNtexity” with ‘Game Over’.
After the massive success of their previous hit single “Check Ise” The Evening Church Resident Choir started the Year with an Awesome Praise Jam “Game Over”.
The jam which instantly became the biggest tune out of this side of the country recorded way over 20,000 downloads within its first week of release, becoming the most downloaded tune for the year even before the year got started…
