#COVID19 : Governor Wike Cancels Planned Lockdown of Port Harcourt

The Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has canncelled the planned LackDown that was scheduled to begin on 26th April 2016.

Meanwhile there is still banned on public gatherings such as Markets and Churches…

Interstate LockDown is still very Active to this effect as Movements in and out of the state is not permitted

According to the governor, all land, sea and air borders in the State will still remain closed as they are exempted from the cancellation.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, 121 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 32 recovery and 9 deaths have been recorded in Rivers State so far.
